This new pack was created by the authors of the main Food Hygiene Certificate tutor packs. It contains 27 pages of teaching notes divided into lesson plans for each of five units (Introduction, Bacteria, Avoiding Contamination, Personal and General Hygiene and Temperature Control). There are also three revision tests and 25 colour OHP acetates.

The tutor pack for the Level 2 Food Safety in Catering or the RSPH Fundamentals of Food Hygiene is available in CD format. Written specifically for the courses, it contains all of the material in the paper version of the tutor pack in both Word and PDF formats, as well as a full set of Powerpoint slides. Tutors are free to add notes, examples and images of their own, adapting the notes and slides to the needs of their learners.

- Essential Food Hygiene Book - 3rd Ed. (Revised) by Dr RJ Donaldson OBE (2006)
This guide to essential aspects of food hygiene has been revised and up-dated to take account of the changes in food hygiene legislation introduced by The Food Hygiene Regulations 2006 which came into force in January this year. It reflects throughout changes brought about by the new legislation, particularly the need for food safety management procedures based on the principles of HACCP (hazard analysis critical control point).  As well as being an ideal up-to date text for students preparing for examinations in food hygiene and safety ‘Essential Food Hygiene’ remains a practical guide useful for anyone handling, preparing and selling food at any stage, from  farm to fork.  Applying the guidance given in this book will greatly reduced food-related illnesses.
- Food Hygiene Video (30 minutes) by Dr RJ Donaldson (1998 edition)
This 30 minute video is primarily aimed at the Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene (Option A). However it is designed to address food hygiene and safety issues quite broadly, and tutors find it useful on courses leading to the Food Hygiene Awareness, Food Hygiene (Option B) and HACCP qualifications.

A 16 page, full colour booklet providing simple guidance on hygiene and the safe handling of food, instilling in employees their responsibilities for the prevention of food poisoning. Similar in format to the tutor pack for the Foundation Certificate on Food Hygiene, this pack is tailored specifically for use with clients in the food industry. The pack follows the same topics as the book (see below): Food poisoning and bacteria; microbiological safety and food preservation; hygiene control in factories and personal hygiene; pest control; factory design and layout; cleaning and disinfection; hygiene systems and the law. The pack has sample exam papers and 50 black and white acetates.

- Food Hygiene for the Food Industry Book by Dr RJ Donaldson & R Early (2004 edition) This full colour text book is written specifically for those working in the food processing industry. The book explains in clear and direct style the underlying reasons why certain food hygiene procedures are essential and why they must be followed precisely, in order to safeguard consumers from food related illnesses.

- Supervising Food Safety by Richard A Sprenger (134 pages colour)
This book provides managers and supervisers with the essential, practical information to manage staff to provide safe food. ‘Intermediate Food Hygiene’ is based on the syllabus of the Intermediate courses provided by the main awarding bodies. In addition to assisting candidates to complete these courses, this book should also be used as a reference guide to help supervisors make correct decisions with regard to food safety.
- Hygiene for Management by Richard A Sprenger (416 pages)
This is a long-established and well-known food safety text book for managers in the food industry, and for advanced students. The 10th edition has been completely revised and up-dated with the latest information on statistics and legislation. There is a complete new chapter on nutrition and healthy eating and many new photographs

Available only in CD format this new pack in Word and Powerpoint format is a full, up-to-date resource for tutors preparing candidates for Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace or Fundamentals of Health and Safety in the Workplace. It provides an introduction to the concepts of health and safety in the workplace, occupational health and maintaining a safe work environment. Legislation, hazards and their effects, the concepts of risk and risk assessment are dealt with at the level demanded by the syllabus.

The 100 slide Powerpoint presentation is supported by Guidance Notes for Tutors and a Student Workbook. The Workbook is directly linked to the course and designed to be printed-off and used with students to provide a record of what they've learned and an aide to revision or future study. This tutor reference book contains 335 pages. It serves both as a reference for busy managers and as a useful resource for student sat Advanced Certificate level.
