2011 Impact Factors increase for both RSPH journals

The 2011 Impact Factors have now been released, and the Royal Society for Public Health is pleased to announce that both our journals have increased their impact factor since 2010.
 
Public Health’s impact factor has increased from 1.267 in 2010 to 1.350 and now ranks 59 out 131 journals in the Public, Environmental and Occupational Health category. Previously Public Health was ranked 88th out of 142 journals.
 
Our members’ journal, Perspectives in Public Health’s impact factor now stands at 1.089, a marked increase from 0.833 in 2010. The journal is now ranked 76 out of 131 journals in Public, Environmental and Occupational Health category, improving from 87th position last year.
This information is provided by Thomson Reuters in their 2011 ‘Journal Citation Report’, and offers a systematic and objective way to evaluate leading journals worldwide based on citation data.
