Private water supplies and bottled water briefing day

28 May 2009

28 Portland Place, London W1B 1DE

Tab 1: Conference overview

The new private water supplies regulations are currently out for consultation and are planned to come into force in 2009. They contain several important changes to the existing legislation, which include risk identification and assessment, changed priorities, audit and check monitoring for a wider number of chemicals, new notices and new categories of supplies.

Bottled water is also getting a lot of attention from the media with questions being raised about its environmental impact.

Speakers will also review the ‘Natural Mineral Water, Spring Water and Bottled Drinking Water regulations 2007’ and its releationship to the new PWS regulations.

Who should attend? It is essential learning for environmental health practitioners and trading standards professionals who want to update themselves and their heads of department.
