RSPH Certification First to Award Information Standard Certificates
3 December 2009
The RSPH Certification department is very proud to announce that it is the first certification body to award certificates for the Information Standard, a new standard developed by the Department of Health for health and social care information.
Certificates have been awarded to the following organisations:
Terence Higgins Trust
Thyroid UK
Arthritis Care
Macmillan Cancer Support
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust
Oxfordshire County Council Social and Community Services
Sue Ryder Care
Pennine Acute NHS Trust
All eight organisations worked with RSPH Certification during the Information Standard pilot scheme. RSPH Certification would like to congratulate all those involved on their hard work, dedication and success in achieving certification to the new standard.
The Information Standard is a quality mark for health and social care information, which provides an easy way to identify quality and trustworthy information. If your organisation produces health and/or social care information you should be considering certification to this new standard.
At the Information Standard launch in November, RSPH Certification were delighted to receive positive feedback from the organisations we have worked with. We are looking forward to working with many more organisations now that the scheme has been launched and pride ourselves on our expert and friendly approach.
