Criteria, fees and how to apply

Fellowship fee £128
To apply for Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • a career commitment to the improvement of population health and/or well being AND
  • educated to Post Graduate level or equivalent from a recognized professional body OR
  • 5 year's experience in a public health related post
Membership fee £90
To apply for Membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • a career commitment to the improvement of population health and/or well being AND
  • educated to Bachelor Degree or equivalent from a recognised professional body OR
  • hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification from the RSPH [Royal Society for Public Health] or other recognised professional body
Licentiateship fee £80

To apply for Licentiateship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • hold a degree in a health-related subject AND
  • currently hold a position primarily concerned with health promotion AND
  • able to provide two professional references
Associate fee £74

To apply for Associate Membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • a career commitment to the improvement of population health and/or well being
Student fee £25
To apply for Student Membership, applicants must currently be undertaking a full time undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in public health or a related discipline
 

Please note:

  • Student membership will be reviewed on an annual basis. At each renewal, Student memberships will convert to Associate membership. You will then need to re-apply for Student membership if you are still in full-time education, or, if applicable, apply for higher membership grade
  • Student members who choose to upgrade will not be charged the upgrade fee
  • Student membership is only available to new members
