RSPH and HPA Health and Hygiene Project

Aim

To research, develop and facilitate short programmes of education and learning on health, hygiene and infection control, which meet a wide range of key stakeholders’ and their employees’/staff needs, national occupational standards and awarding bodies’ examination standards

Purpose

To increase access to education and learning for those not always directly involved with health and hygiene, to improve consistency of standards, knowledge and skills, raise awareness about the importance of infection control, help reduce the spreading of infection and encourage high standards of good everyday health and hygiene practice

Working in partnership with the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH [Royal Society for Public Health]) and Health Protection Agency (HPA).
