Effective deployment and use of resources is critical to effective health improvement. The Governance Structure diagram above is a well grounded model used where multiple partners, professional or other groups need to be co-ordinated and controlled over a period of time.
The requirements of health improvement work is also demanding with multiple partners/groups managing complex and sensitive issues. The division of responsibilities is clearly stated – strategic direction – operational implementation – provider delivery. All are of equal status.
