"My name is Lookman Alli an African born and trained doctor, now working in public health.
Before now, I was working in a state Ministry of Health in Nigeria around HIV and child survival. I have been a Fellow of the RIPH for a year. During this time I have found my membership to be beneficial in a number of ways.
As a public health professional new to the United Kingdom, being a member gives me the opportunity to meet with experienced colleagues and talk through work related issues and ideas. The group also hosts a number of events on a variety of public health topics, from which I share what I have learnt with my public health colleagues.
My membership also provides me with a journal service direct to my home and a variety of other useful information via email. These are very informative and enable me to keep pace with the ever changing public health scene."
