Level 2 Award in Nail Salon Hygiene
This qualification is designed for those who work, or intend to work, as nail technicians. It equips candidates with a basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of public health and hygiene as they apply in the nail salon environment.
Holders of this qualification will understand how to ensure public health and hygiene in the nail salon and how to keep the work area safe, clean and hygienic. They will also appreciate how the nail technician can maintain health and hygiene for him/herself and clients.
This programme is usually delivered over one day, and assessment is by a 45 minute multiple choice examination consisting of 30 questions.
