The Royal Society of Health (RSH) is developing a national Human Papillomavirus (HPV) education programme to raise public understanding about HPV in spring 2008.

Health professionals, teachers, healthy schools co-ordinators, parents, young people, local government officers all have an essential role to play in this public health programme in creating a supportive educational and organizational environment for young people to take informed action to protect themselves against cervical cancer.

The teaching pack will be available online in July 2008 to support teachers in planning for the autumn term and hard copies will be distributed in August 2008
