Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Inspection Procedures

The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 introduce a duty to manage the risk posed by asbestos containing materials, in non-domestic premises. To provide sufficient suitably qualified asbestos inspectors, RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and ARCA (Asbestos Removal Contractors Association) have set up The National Individual Asbestos Certification Scheme (NIACS).

RSPH Qualifications has now received QCA accreditation for the Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Inspection Procedures. Possession of the qualification is a pre-requisite for membership of The National Individual Asbestos Certification Scheme (NIACS).

The UKAS Asbestos Technical Advisory Committee has formally approved the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Inspection Procedures as an alternative to the BOHS P402 module for asbestos surveyors operating within Inspection Bodies.
