RSPH celebrates its 160th anniversary this year and so we would like to commission a talented artist to produce a commemorative artwork.

We want to update William Hogarth’s infamous Gin Lane (1751) but with a contemporary twist that reflects the biggest public health challenges faced by today’s society.

The completed artwork will be unveiled at 28 Portland Place in central London by our President Lord Hunt of Kings Heath later this year.

We are looking to appoint an artist over the next few weeks and will make our selection based on portfolio submission and a short interview. We are offering payment plus costs for the successful artist.

If you or someone you know may be suited for this special commission, please email us or call 020 7265 7381 to register your interest by Friday 29 July 2016.
