Accidental or deliberate plumbing chemical contamination can pose a health risk to occupants to both residential and commercial buildings. To rapidly identify and resolve the potential health risks, water system owners as well as health professionals should proceed through a series of considerations including: chemical type, exposure scenarios, water use recommendations, fate of it and by-products produced, decontamination, and water sampling practice.
This webinar will cover considerations for how to investigate and return building water systems to safe use after chemical contamination.
