The webinar will include a discussion of why challenges relating to food allergies in the catering sector are different to those in food manufacturing. These challenges include controlling what happens in the kitchen, dealing with suppliers and data, as well as directly supporting customers.

The webinar looks at what a good Food Safety Management System should include and why some ideas, which at first sight seem helpful, can actually be dangerous. The webinar also covers effective staff training and dealing with allergen requests to keep customers safe.

The webinar will be of interest to those working in the hospitality sector at all levels, as well as Environmental Health Practitioners, trainers, consultants and operators of multi-site businesses.
