Speaker: Dr Elaine Cloutman-Green, Principal Clinical Scientist, Great Ormond Street Hospital
Chair: Elise Maynard, Water Management Society

Provision of dialysis is an increasing demand on NHS as we become better at managing long term, complex conditions. To support patient access this provision is not just provided within an NHS hospital setting but can be provided by companies and in locations that support improved patient access. However, water use in these units can be complex and challenging and incidents resulting from contamination issues may have significant impacts on patients.

This webinar will discuss the challenges of managing these units and cover both Infection Prevention and Control and Estates considerations.  It will also include some personal experiences of managing units over time in a multi professional team and some of the lessons learnt.

The webinar series is supported by an educational grant from
