Our annual awards ceremony is a prestigious fixture in the public health community calendar, and brings together a wide range of organisations and individuals to celebrate achievement and best practice in public health.

RSPH Awards 2017

The RSPH Awards 2017 took place on Thursday 19 October at the East Wintergarden in London.

The evening’s highpoint was the announcement of this year's winners of the Health & Wellbeing Awards, the Public Health England Commendations and the Public Health Minister’s Award.

 

It also saw the launch our new 2017 film, The Public’s Health Across The Life Course, made in collaboration with ITN Productions.

The event was jointly hosted by RSPH Vice President Professor Lord Patel of Bradford OBE and broadcaster Natasha Kaplinsky, while entertainment was provided by Strictly Come Dancing’s Karen Hardy and her award-winning Karen Hardy Dance Studios and after-dinner speaker David Travers QC.

RSPH Awards 2016

The 2016 gala event took place on Thursday 27 October at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. It included a drinks reception in the Hunterian Museum and Surgeons Library, which was followed by dinner in the Edward Lumley Hall.

The event was hosted jointly by RSPH Vice President Professor Lord Patel of Bradford OBE and BBC TV presenter Angela Rippon, with entertainment from the North London Military Wives Choir and comedian John Ryan. We also launched our 2016 film ‘Championing the Public’s Health’, made in collaboration with ITN Productions.
