Held at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, the RSPH Awards 2016 ceremony was hosted by TV presenter Angela Rippon and Professor Lord Patel of Bradford OBE, and saw performances by comedian John Ryan and the North London Military Wives Choir.

It also saw the premiere of RSPH’s new film, Championing the Public’s Health – a collaboration with ITN Productions which takes a topical look at current public health challenges and initiatives.

The evening’s highpoint was the announcement of the 2016 winners of the Health & Wellbeing Awards, the Public Health England Commendations and the Public Health Minister’s Award.
