What is Level 3 Violence Prevention and Reduction?

The RSPH Level 3 Award in Violence Prevention and Reduction in the Workplace is designed to support you and your colleagues in workplace settings to develop a working knowledge of practices to prevent and reduce the incidence of violence and abuse.

Holders of this qualification will have the appropriate knowledge and skills to understand the causes of violence and abuse, to take appropriate action to prevent it from occurring and to respond effectively to any incidents that do occur, and to demonstrate leadership in supporting teams to contribute to violence prevention and reduction.

Who is the course for?

This qualification is aimed at team leaders and supervisory staff working in a range of workplace settings, such as education, transport and retail. 

When is the course?

The course takes place over two days on 21st and 28th April between 9:30am and 5pm.

How is it assessed?

This course will be assessed by workbooks completed during and following your training. 

You must be able to attend both days to be able to submit your workbook for assessment.

How much does it cost?

The course costs £315 for RSPH members and £350 for non-members.
