Established in 2007 and free to enter, the RSPH Health & Wellbeing Awards is the UK's premier public health awards scheme for promoting health and wellbeing.
They recognise and celebrate a wide range of people and organisations that are working in innovative ways to improve the population’s health and address the wider social determinants of health.
Open to applicants from across the UK, the Awards span six categories that are designed to account for the breadth of public health related projects and programmes. The categories are:
- Arts & Health Award
- Community Health Development Award
- Health & Wellbeing in Workplaces Award
- Health at Every Age Award
- Healthier Lives Award
- Metal Health & Wellbeing Award
Previous winners have gone on to win funding bids, receive media coverage and attract new trustees and patrons.
Applicants have until 27th March 2026 to send in their applications.
Finalists from the six categories will also automatically be entered into the Public Health Minister’s Award. Developed in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care, the award recognises excellence and innovation in public health programmes.
The winner of the Public Health Minister's Award is selected from the finalists of the RSPH Health & Wellbeing Award by a Department of Health Award Committee led by the Public Health Minister.
