RSPH Accredits Public Health Workforce Development Programme

The programme was developed through a collaborative partnership between NHS England, University of Leeds, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and the UK Health Security Agency.
RSPH has accredited the Core PH Workforce Development Programme for Public Health workers in the Yorkshire and the Humber region.
The training sessions cover a broad range of subjects and allow participants to address any gaps in their knowledge of Public Health. Modules topics include Systems Leadership, Epidemiology, Critical Appraisal and Evidence Based Practice. The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) Masterclasses, included in the course, are also aligned to the theoretical knowledge requirements of the UKPHR Practitioner Registration standards and support those practitioners seeking voluntary registration.

Programme delivery is managed through the University of Leeds and the sessions are free of charge for learners.
The RSPH is committed to supporting the education of all those working in Public Health roles. This comprehensive training programme provides learners with an in-depth knowledge of Public Health concepts and supports their career development. The course now joins the wide range of training programmes accredited through RSPH’s accreditation scheme
