What is a Healthy Living Pharmacy?
The Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) framework encourages pharmacies to work towards improving the health and wellbeing of their local communities to help reduce health inequalities.
The RSPH Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement for Healthy Living Pharmacies will allow you to gain the qualification and assessment you need to become a Healthy Living Pharmacy.

How long does it take to complete?
The Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement course consists of 8 hours of online study that you can undertake at your leisure. Your progress will be saved inside the RSPH Learn LMS and you can come back to it at your own pace.
Assessment and certification
Once you have completed the course, you’ll have the option to take an additional assessment to gain your recognised qualification. The assessment costs £43.00 on top of the price of the course and can be taken online or in person.
Invigilating assessments in-house
Pharmacies also have the option of invigilating their assessments in-house. Pharmacists will be responsible for supervising the assessment and making sure to comply with RSPH examination procedures. The invigilator must be a registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician on the General Pharmaceutical Council’s Register. If you choose to conduct your assessments in-house, please notify us at RSPH Training Solutions at least two weeks in advance of any examination date.

Once you have registered for RSPH Learn and purchased the course, you can access it via the learning catalogue. From there, you can take the course yourself or assign it to a team member.
