What are the theories and principles of behaviour change? 

The theories and principles of behaviour change are used to explain why and how people change their behaviour. Through this course, you will learn about some of these theories and how they can be applied to health and social care in order to develop health behaviour change implementations and support people making behaviour changes using evidence-based practices.

How long does it take to complete? 

The Level 3 Theories and Principles of Behaviour Change qualification includes up to 20 hours of online study that you can undertake at your leisure. Your progress will be saved inside the RSPH Learn LMS and you can come back to it at your own pace. 

Assessment and certification 

Once you have completed the course, you will be assessed through your submission of a digital workbook, where you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained.

Once you have registered for RSPH Learn and purchased the course, you can access it via the learning catalogue. From there, you can take the course yourself or assign it to a team member.
