The RSPH Level 4 Award in Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response provides in-depth knowledge of the principles and practices required to manage emergencies and enhance resilience. This qualification is essential for those involved in the planning and delivery of EPRR arrangements in healthcare organisations (NHS organisations and providers of NHS funded care).

Most emergencies can be mitigated with proper planning and response strategies. This accredited qualification is designed to help you develop a robust understanding of emergency management, including risk assessment, incident command, and recovery planning.

This qualification has been mapped to the National Occupational Standards for Civil Contingencies, which describe those activities required for the provision of integrated emergency management for events or situations, within or affecting the UK, which may threaten serious damage to human welfare, the environment or national security.

How long does it take to complete? 

The qualification takes a total of 70 hours to complete, including 48 hours of guided learning time, followed a centre-devised assessment.
