How can you support people to make positive changes that are realistic, achievable and sustainable?
As health professionals working with the public, you will know that giving people advice doesn’t always mean they are ready, or able, to act on it. So how do you have behaviour change conversations that are supportive, person-centred and realistic?
This webinar, in collaboration with the World Cancer Research Fund, explores how to move beyond simply giving advice by having conversations that help people feel heard, build trust and take practical steps towards healthier choices that support cancer prevention.
We’ll look at practical approaches to start sensitive conversations, understanding what matters to the individual and balancing evidence-based information with people’s autonomy.
