The inaugural Building Safer Hospitals Conference curated by BEIPI (Built Environment Infection Prevention Initiative) will bring together multidisciplinary professionals involved in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of healthcare buildings, with the shared ambition of:
- Embedding infection prevention principles into every stage of hospital buildings
- Improving occupant safety within the built environment to save lives and reduce the threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
- Saving money for the NHS and construction firms through reducing costly remediation works
