RSPH Recommends: Water and Wastewater Safety in Healthcare

Live Sessions from 6th October - 9th October

This course, from Healthcare Infection Society, is a mix of self-led learning format plus live online sessions.  Delegates will come together on zoom for workshops, Q&A and discussion sessions, taking place over four afternoons in one week.

Key dates for this course are:

• 22 July 2026-  Booking / payment deadline
• W/C 27 July 2026   - Self led content becomes available
• To be advised - Introduction session 1 (1200-1330)
• To be advised - Introduction session 2 (1200-1330)
• 6 - 9 October 2026 - Live online sessions (afternoons 1300-1645)
• 22 January 2027 - Access to content closes

Delegate fees:

• HIS members: £500
• Non-members: £650

Access to on demand content:

Delegates will have access to the on demand content on the eLearning platform for a period of 6 months. Access for each cohort will commence between 6-8 weeks before the designated live online sessions, and continue for a further 4 months.

Live online sessions: 

Delegates will have an opportunity to submit questions and share their own case studies for the live online sessions. In addition, live online workshops will develop on the self-led learning available on the HIS eLearning platform.  We advise learners to complete the self-led content before the live online sessions.

Certificates are automatically issued to delegates who attend all live online sessions and have completed the self-led content on our eLearning platform. 

Expected learning hours:

• Self-led learning via eLearning platform approximately 12 hours
• Live online workshops and expert Q&A:  15 hours (over 4 days on Zoom)
