RSPH selected to host 2030 WFPHA World Congress

The London event will bring together members of the global public health community to collaborate, share insights and find ways to tackle the health challenges of the next decade.
The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) have today announced that London will stage the 2030 World Congress on Public Health.
RSPH will serve as the host organisation for the multi-day event, which will bring together members of the global public health community to collaborate, share insights and find ways to tackle the health challenges of the next decade.
This is a major opportunity for the UK to showcase its history with public health and contributions to the sector, including the development of the very first vaccine, RSPH’s status as the world’s oldest public health body, and the ongoing efforts of thousands of core and wider public health professionals nationwide.
Support for the RSPH bid came from organisations across the public health sector as well as government partners. RSPH recognises the importance of its more than 6,000 international members in securing this bid. Their ongoing support allows the organisation to continue to champion public health on the national and global stage.
Hosting the WFPHA World Congress in London in 2030 is a significant moment for RSPH, our members and the wider UK public health community. It is a chance to welcome colleagues from across the world, celebrate the UK’s contribution to public health, and strengthen the global partnerships needed to improve and protect health globally.
