The aim of this qualification is to enable the learner to demonstrate their competence in the safe use of aluminium phosphide for vertebrate pest management and to fulfil the requirements of the Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regulations 2012.
This qualification is on The Education and Skills Funding Agency list of qualifications approved for funding. This funding will be withdrawn with effect from 1 August 2021.
If you are working in the pest management environment, or manage any controlled greenspace such as municipal parks and football pitches or if you are a greenkeeper or gamekeeper, then you will be required to hold this certificate in order to purchase and use aluminium phosphide.
