What is the Advanced Public Health training package?
RSPH has designed this course to support senior AHPs to develop knowledge, skills and confidence to integrate public health messages and interventions into routine practice.
Who is this package for?
This course is valuable for anyone in an established Allied Health Profession role who would like to further develop their skills and knowledge in relation to public health and health improvement.
What does the package contain?
The package contains three modules, after which you will then be supported to complete and submit a reflective activity exploring the application of public health knowledge and skills into your daily role.
How long does it take to complete?
The Foundation Public Health training package consists of 20+ hours of online study that you can complete in your own time over six months. Your progress will be saved inside the RSPH Learn LMS and you can come back to it at your own pace
Certification
Once you have completed the course, you will take additional online assessments to gain your Level 3 certificate. This package also provides points towards the RSPH Public Health Pathway, and one year of complimentary Associate membership.
How do I access the courses?
Once you have registered for RSPH Learn and purchased the course package, you can access it via the learning catalogue. From there, you can take the online courses yourself or assign them to a team member.
