The shortlist for the 2026 RSPH Health & Wellbeing Awards has been announced.
Established in 2007, the Awards are the UK’s premier public health awards scheme for promoting health and wellbeing.
They recognise and celebrate a wide range of people and organisations that are working in innovative ways to improve the population’s health and address the wider social determinants of health.
There are six categories: Arts & Health, Community Health Development, Health & Wellbeing in Workplaces, Health at Every Age, Healthier Lives and Metal Health & Wellbeing.
Finalists from the six categories will also automatically be entered into the Public Health Minister’s Award. Developed in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care, the award recognises excellence and innovation in public health programmes.
From using theatre to improve health to tackling gambling related harm, this year’s nominees represent a range of public health initiatives.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday 26 November.
