The objective of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to deliver personalised care as part of a health coaching programme, in order to promote the health and wellbeing of individuals, groups and communities.
The qualification is mapped against the learning outcomes included in the core capabilities, to enable and support people and the health coaching and community-based support sections of the Personalised Care Institute curriculum.
This qualification is for individuals in roles relating to health coaching.
It is also suitable for anyone working or volunteering in a role where there are opportunities to work with individuals and incorporate a health coaching approach and/or signpost individuals to health coaching programmes and other health improvement pathways and services.
