The RSPH Health & Wellbeing Awards 2016 are now open for entries.

Now in their ninth year, the Health & Wellbeing Awards are the UK's premier scheme for promoting health and wellbeing.

Celebrating best practice

The awards recognise and celebrate a wide range of activities, policies and strategies that empower communities and individuals, improve the population’s health and address the wider social determinants of health.

There are six categories representing the breadth and reach of public health projects and programmes:

• Arts and Health Award
• Community Health Development Award
• Healthier Lifestyles Award
• Public Mental Wellbeing Award
• Technology Health and Innovation Award
• Workplace Health and Wellbeing Award

Get formal recognition

Entering will provide your team and organisation with the chance to gain formal recognition for its contribution to public health, while category winners will also have the opportunity to be selected for the highly regarded Public Health Minister’s Award.

To enter, you first need to register for our application pack which contains the application form and guidance notes.

The deadline for returning your completed application form and all supporting evidence is 12pm Tuesday 31 May 2016.

2016 RSPH Awards

The winners will be announced at the RSPH Awards 2016: Championing the Public's Health event which will be held on 27 October 2016 at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

This gala evening will celebrate achievement and best practice in public health, and will also be an excellent opportunity to network with winning and shortlisted organisations, award assessors, sponsors and other guests, and share in a memorable evening of celebration
