RSPH is delighted to announce that finalists for the Health & Wellbeing Awards 2017 will also be considered for two special commendations to be given by Public Health England (PHE).

These commendations will be made for outstanding contributions to:

• Reducing Inequalities at Community Level
• Sustainable development

The commended organisations will be announced alongside the winners of the Health & Wellbeing Awards and the Public Health Minister’s Award at the RSPH Awards ceremony on Thursday 19 October 2017.

Entering the Health & Wellbeing Awards is the only route to the Public Health England Commendations – they cannot be applied for separately or independently. Now in its tenth year, the Health & Wellbeing Awards is the UK's premier awards scheme for promoting health and wellbeing.

Entering the Health & Wellbeing Awards will provide your team and organisation with the chance to gain formal recognition for their contribution to public health.

In addition to access to the Public Health England Commendations, entering will also provide the opportunity to be selected for the prestigious Public Health Minister’s Award. The deadline for applications is Friday 28 April.
