The long awaited Level 3 Diploma in Pest Management is now being offered to candidates by Killgerm. The Level 3 follows on from the Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management and is for pest control technicians who wish to progress within the industry. The qualification enables pest controllers to specialise in a particular branch of pest management and will enable successful candidates to demonstrate their advanced knowledge and expertise of pest control.
This qualification includes units from the level 2 qualifications in pest management, therefore holders of the Level 2 Certificate in Pest control, the Level 2 Award in Pest Management and the Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management who have obtained some or all of these units will not have to repeat them.
Head of Qualifications Development at the RSPH, Dr Richard Burton said ‘We have had a large amount of interest in the qualification and are delighted that it is now being offered by Killgerm. Killgerm is the first centre to obtain approval to offer the qualification and we hope more centres will be able to offer it in the near future’.
