To tackle the growing health inequalities that persist in the UK, it is vital that we take a whole-system approach to health improvement, utilising community assets and engaging the wider public health workforce.

With this in mind, the Health & Wellbeing Awards seek to recognise the valuable contribution made to health improvement by organisations across the public, private and third sectors.

The Health & Wellbeing Awards

The Awards promote a mainstream approach to activities, policies and strategies which improve population health and address the wider social determinants of health. They also provide organisations with an evaluation methodology that is helpful and part of a wider learning process.

We welcome applications from any organisations based in the UK who promote health and wellbeing as part of their role in commissioning, operational support or service delivery.

This year we would be particularly interested in learning from workplace health initiatives and are hoping to see more organisations coming forward with this type of case study.

RSPH Awards provide an independent endorsement of your organisations achievements in health improvement. The Award, which will be presented to you at a ceremony in London and publicised through our extensive communication channels, will strengthen your professional profile and demonstrate your commitment to improving health outcomes.

Moreover, with our panel of expert assessors, the Awards scheme provides you with the opportunity to reflect on your work so far and identify any areas that could be further developed.

You will also be given the chance to share your examples of good practice with the other applicant organisations, enabling you to share experiences and learn from the work of others.
