Following a review of qualifications by Qualifications Wales, we have revised our specifications for all RSPH qualifications that are assessed or part-assessed by multiple-choice exams.

These revisions include removal of the command verbs for the assessment criteria as we consider these unnecessary for qualifications assessed by multiple-choice examinations, and adding a statement about the level of the qualification based on the Ofqual level descriptors.

We have also made clear that the pass mark for an examination applies to the examination as a whole and does not have to be achieved for each of the learning outcomes. These changes do not affect the content of a qualification or how it is assessed, which means that Centres and Learners do not need to take any action. However, we advise you to consult the revised specifications for all qualifications assessed or part-assessed by multiple-choice exams, which are available here.
