You are invited to join FCMS (NW) Limited & PDS (Medical) Limited for a full day event of conversation about the social determinants of health. Blackpool remains one of the most deprived towns in the country and presents great social challenge to those who live and work here.

The event will take place on Wednesday 27 November 2019, in the heart of Blackpool, at The Winter Gardens.

The event will create a platform for discussion about the stages of life and will shine a spotlight on the conditions in which people are born, grow up, reside, work and age. We want to inspire people not only to learn and increase awareness, but also to make a commitment to making change happen in their communities.

Programme themes to include:

• Early Years –The First 1000 Days: why childhood intervention matters
• Young Adult lived experiences
• Adult social isolation and loneliness
• A ‘Conversation on the Couch’ about housing & homelessness
• Call to action: be the someone that makes the difference!
