Considering the future of health devolution in London, focusing on potential changes to the funding and delivery of health and social care services, and the future direction of policy, this conference will be an opportunity to discuss lessons that can be drawn from the devolution pilots within the London Health and Care Devolution Programme, in the areas of health and care integration, service personalisation, prevention and catering to local needs. Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss progress with the Programme, and possible lessons moving forward as stakeholders consider options for further devolution. Sessions will also assess the impact of devolution on health and care service improvement - including the relationship with London’s Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships - the implications for the role of local authorities in funding and delivering services, and opportunities for key areas of provision such as primary care and public health. Speakers and other delegates at this conference are expected to be a senior and informed group including Assembly Members and senior officials from the GLA, senior government officials involved in this area of public policy, local government representatives, healthcare professionals, representatives of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, academics, charities and user groups, together with reporters from the national and trade press.
