Event details

We are pleased to announce the formal dates of the Level 3 qualification in Violence Prevention & Reduction and Public Health (Strategic Specialists) – a fully CPD-accredited course developed by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) in partnership with NHS England (NHS England » Violence prevention and reduction). This two-day programme (delivered by Gladeye Training, an RSPH-approved accredited training centre) is designed for organisational leads, officers, administrators and clinical leaders responsible for violence reduction in health and care settings (rsph.org.uk). This RSPH course forms a crucial part of the modern VPR educational pathway.

This contemporary, evidence-based course uses a public health approach to tackle workplace violence. You will learn to identify the root causes of aggression (from individual trauma to societal factors like health inequalities) and to build practical strategies to prevent abuse and protect staff. By the end of the training, you will have the knowledge and confidence to lead VPR initiatives and effect cultural change in your organisation.

Importantly, this training earns an RSPH Level 3 qualification and CPD. RSPH is the UK’s leading public health awarding body (Ofqual-regulated rsph.org.uk), so your certificate will be nationally recognised and valued across the NHS. The programme is fully quality-assured (Gladeye Training is a licensed RSPH training centre), ensuring you receive top-quality content and instruction.

This course is an exceptional opportunity to advance your professional development and meet the NHS Violence Prevention & Reduction Standard. We encourage you to join us and enhance your leadership and proficiency in VPR. Places are limited, so please contact Adam Hopper at [email protected]  to register or to get more information. Please see the attached poster for full course details and cohort dates.

Gladeye Training will be delivering two separate cohorts of the RSPH-accredited course. Delegates are required to attend both days of their chosen cohort: either the 15th & 16th September or the 29th & 30th September. Both cohorts are being delivered through Microsoft Teams to reduce costs and provide a collaborative platform

The course is available at a special introductory rate of £385 per person, which includes £85 for the RSPH certificate and registration fees.
