After last year’s third successful training session, Snape Maltings is delighted to be hosting another two days of training. Since last year, new Parkinson’s groups have been formed and a national network of SING TO BEAT PARKINSON’S groups has now been fully established.
The course offers a unique and specialist opportunity for musicians and emerging artists to gain invaluable experience and a toolkit to run a Singing Group for people with Parkinson's and their carers.
The course will be led by Grenville Hancox (Honorary Professor in Music, Health and Well Being, University of Kent; Artistic Director, Canterbury Cantata Trust Founder and expert in singing and wellbeing) and Nicola Wydenbach (an experienced Parkinson's and Singing practitioner and Founder of the Contented Music Club).
