This pre-release screening and panel event, chaired by Prof Ibrahim Abubakar (Dean for the Faculty of Population Health Sciences, UCL) and featuring world-renowned epidemiologist and public health leader Professor Sir Michael Marmot, amongst other experts, provides an opportunity to take stock of what went wrong, and what can and must be done to make sure the UK is better prepared when the next pandemic hits.
