Join our call to boost vaccine uptake
Every year, flu vaccinations are offered to eligible people via the NHS. However, many people get the vaccine with the support of their employer.
Currently, flu vaccines do not result in a tax charge if employers pay for them directly. But if the employee pays for the vaccine themselves and then is reimbursed, this is liable to tax.
RSPH wants to see this change and is asking for additional tax relief for flu vaccinations that are paid for by the employee and later reimbursed by the employer.
You can join us in our call for the tax system to change, further supporting businesses to increase the provision of occupational health.
