This seminar will be an opportunity for stakeholders and policymakers to discuss key issues relating to the health and social care workforce in England. Delegates will assess the impact of Brexit on recruitment, retention rates, morale and leadership - and options going forward - as well as priorities for the professions in primary, secondary and social care, as well as Allied Health Professionals.

It takes place in the context of goals outlined in the Next Steps on the NHS Five Year Forward View, the General Practice Forward View and AHPs into Action to improve knowledge sharing, service efficiency and ambitious targets for GP recruitment and creating medical training places.

Sessions focus on key priorities for primary care - including the implementation of STPs and working in multi-disciplinary teams - and for the secondary care workforce, including demand for services, training and the strategy for developing the workforce.
