Location: London

This seminar will provide a timely opportunity to discuss next steps for commissioning specialised services in England and to discuss the latest developments and priorities for moving towards outcome-based commissioning. It is bringing together policymakers with key stakeholders in the health, social care and public health sectors.

It follows the Prime Minister’s recent announcement of a 5-year funding plan, which includes an allocation to specialised services.

The seminar will also discuss the introduction of the new budget impact test by NICE, which assesses the financial impact of a technology over the first 3 years of its use in the NHS and how specialised services will be funded.

Attendees also will assess key areas for service delivery in specialised commissioning and the prospects for moving towards more result-based models.
